SUMMARY:From Eye to "I": Transforming Attachment and Identity with EMDR Therapy
DESCRIPTION:In Day One\, participants will explore attachment and identity formation\, and the relationship between family dynamics and ego structure. Reenactments from the family of origin\, and their materialization as ego state conflict in individual and conjoint therapy will be described. Next\, participants will learn a progression of techniques to control and focus desensitization within the optimal zone of arousal. \nFinally\, participants will learn and practice a new and powerful technique for attachment repair: The I-Gaze Interweave.
