In Day One, participants will explore attachment and identity formation, and the relationship between family dynamics and ego structure. Reenactments from the family of origin, and their materialization as ego state conflict in individual and conjoint therapy will be described. This paves the way to understand dissociative personality structure and its relational manifestations.

In Day Two, participants will learn a model for EMDR-based assessment and treatment planning using a model original to the author: The Domains of Self Experience (D.O.S.E.). This model allows the clinician to rapidly identify salient negative cognitions and predict the trajectory of the therapy. Next, participants will learn a progression of techniques to control and focus desensitization within the optimal zone of arousal.

Finally, participants will learn and practice a new and powerful technique for attachment repair: The I-Gaze Interweave. This interactive workshop will include practicum, videotape, and didactic material designed to facilitate a deeper understanding of this exciting new integrative Model.
